The Chamber

Community of Choice

Your Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of citizens who are investing their time and money to a community development program-working together to improve the economic, civic and cultural well-being of the area.

Any citizen who is interested in helping to develop the area (which means more money, more business, more jobs, and better living for everyone) is eligible to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce. The dues structure is designed to permit even the smallest business to be a member. The work of the Chamber is financed by the investment of the members who support it on the basis of their ability to pay and their interest in the progress of the area.

Community Involvement

Ambassadors:
The goal of the Ambassadors is to represent the Chamber and act as the “Welcoming Committee” at ribbon cuttings, ground breakings, special events and goodwill activities.

Leadership Angleton:
The effectiveness of personal involvement in the future development of Angleton can be enhanced through increased knowledge of the community’s history, citizenry, social and economic make-up. It is the intent of the Leadership Angleton program to provide a foundation of such knowledge that potential leaders will use to aid their involvement in community affairs.

Christmas on the Square:
This exciting event is known as the “Gift to the Community”. An event full of holiday tradition and fun for all ages. Christmas on the Square is made possible through the many corporate donations and volunteer hours.

Committees:
Committees are formed as needed for various projects. Every member has a voice in determining policies and projects and every member is needed to work on active committees to get the job done. We need and appreciate your input.
